New Delhi: During the crisis of Corona epidemic, there was a lot of uproar over the pathetic condition of the migrant labourers. The Central Government responded to this issue on Wednesday in Parliament. In response to a question, the government has admitted that around one crore people had reached their homes during the lockdown in the Corona era. Samajwadi Party (SP) leader in Rajya Sabha Ram Gopal Yadav questioned how many workers were unemployed in the unorganized sector due to the Corona crisis, what is the official figure with the government?

In response to this question, Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar said that this is really a matter of concern, according to the information we have collected, about one crore labours have come from other states to their home state. Most of them have also returned, the rest are also getting a place. It is noteworthy that the lockdown was implemented in March during the Corona period. Due to the sudden lockdown, lakhs of migrant labourers were stuck at their respective places. During this time, a large number of workers walked out on the streets.

However, after a long time, special trains were run by the Government of India for different areas. In which migrant workers were sent to their states. At present, a large number of labourers have returned to their place of work.
