Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said on Thursday that in the midst of the growing case of pandemic infection, the state government will provide plasma free of charge to all those who need it. Singh ordered the health department to strictly ensure that corona patients are not charged for the plasma treatment method. Singh clearly said that no one should be allowed to buy and sell plasma.
In the government information released here, the CM has requested people who have recovered after Corona. In which he said that he should come forward and donate plasma to save the lives of other people. He told that about 10,000 people have become infection free so far in the state. He told that the priority of the government is to save the life of every person in Punjab. The CM asked the health department to speed up the process of building two new plasma banks in Amritsar and Faridkot. There is already a plasma bank in Patiala in the state.
Be aware that in Punjab, ten patients died of corona on Thursday. Out of which 511 new cases, the total number of infected people has reached 15,456. The state medical bulletin said that three people died in Jalandhar, four in Ludhiana, one each in Amritsar, Hoshiarpur and Patiala. With this, the death toll has reached 370.
