BHUBANESWAR: Three union ministers, Ashwini Vaishnaw, Mahendra Nath Pandey, and Bishweswar Tudu, led International Yoga Day festivities in Odisha's Konark, Puri and Khiching respectively.

These three Central Ministers presided over the state's great celebrations, which included a mass yoga demonstration following the common yoga procedure.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message to the nation was live-streamed from Mysuru Palace in Karnataka to a big audience at all three prime places during the ceremonies.

Addressing the crowd at Konark, the T Minister Vaishnav said that yoga is now celebrated all over the world, from Tokyo to America, thanks to Prime Minister Modi's efforts, and it has already become a part of Indians' daily lives.
Regular Yoga practice aids in staying energised and maintaining a robust immune system, the minister said. Yoga is an ancient Indian high ascetic practice that blends physical, mental, and spiritual efforts to achieve body and mind harmony. He said that there are several advantages to doing yoga, all of which lead to humanity.

Heavy Industry Minister Pandey said in his Puri speech that yoga is the embodiment of mind-body unification, thought-action, restraint and achievement, and man-nature harmony.

Yoga is a comprehensive approach to health and wellness that is more than just an exercise. It is a way of building identification with oneself, the world, and nature, he added.
