New Delhi: Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai kept his point while giving important information in the Rajya Sabha. In fact, he said that the total number of Kashmiri Pandits killed in the Valley during the last three years from 2020 to 2022 is nine, including one person belonging to the Kashmiri Rajput community. Along with this, he gave another information and while giving this information, i.e. the Minister of State for Home said that till December 2, 2022, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has registered 497 cases including the Coimbatore blast case.

Let us tell you that while talking about this today i.e. on Wednesday, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that nine states including Telangana and Meghalaya have withdrawn the general consent given to the Central Bureau of Investigation to investigate certain crimes. Furthermore, he also said that, as per Section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment (DSPE) Act, 1946, the CBI needs consent from the respective state governments to conduct investigations within its jurisdiction.

Let us tell you that he said all this in reply to a written question in the Lok Sabha. Yes, along with this, he said other things in his statement which surprised the people.
