Gate No. 251/251/201 located on the Gonda-Basti railway section at Motiganj on Sunday morning. A 30-year-old woman on B2 has killed herself by jumping in front of a train on a railway track with her two innocent children. As soon as the information was received, the RPF and the local police reached the spot and took action. Station Master Motiganj Nitin Madhesia said that information was received by Keyman Yunus at 5 am that a woman and two children had lost their lives after being hit by an unidentified train near the eastern railway crossing of the station.

On receiving the information, station master Motiganj informed RPF, GRP Gonda, Mankapur or Motiganj police. On getting the information, the inspector in charge of GRP Gonda M P Chaturvedi, RPF inspector Udayraj, in-charge inspector Motiganj Arvind Kumar reached the spot and got the body out of the railway track and identified it with the people present at the spot but nothing about them has been found so far.

After some time Ramnath Yadav, the brother-in-law of the deceased resident of Sothia village, identified his brother as wife and children and said that these are my brother's wife and children. Family discord is also being said behind the incident. Inspector-in-Charge GRP Gonda MP Chaturvedi has said that the deceased has been identified as Sunita (30) and son Alok (5) and daughter Anika (3), residents of Sothia village under Motiganj police station area. Taking possession of the body, after filling the Panchnama, it has been sent for post-mortem, and information has been given to the relatives.
