On this day in 1910, i.e. 26 August, a woman was born who taught millions of people a lesson to live life, this woman is none other than Mother Teresa, she believed that the wounding hands are more sacred than the praying lips.

The Missionaries of Charity, an organization established through her, is active in 123 countries today. There are a total of 4,500 sisters, she has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize Bharat Ratna, Templeton Prize, Order of Merit and Padma Shri. Mother Teresa's childhood name was Aneze Gonxhe Bojaxhiu. It means a small flower.

She had citizenship of 5 countries at different times. These included Ottoman, Serbia, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and India. In 1948, she started working in Calcutta and started wearing a white sari with a blue border instead of a nun's dress.
