Indore: Indore has once again become a clean and punched city. Indore has received the clean city award four times over the years, but today it has won it for the fifth time. Indore has once again taken the top spot in terms of cleanliness. At a ceremony in Delhi today, Indore was also awarded the star status of garbage-free city. Indore Municipal Corporation also earned the 12 crore Safai Mitra Suraksha Challenge Award at the same time.

Let us also remind you that this is the first time this award has been given out. Indore city is claimed to have garnered three honours this time around. Safai Mitra Indirabai Adiwal was also honoured at the same time. Let us inform you that LCD displays have been put at ten sites in Indore to see the Swachhta Survekshan Award programme. Rajbara is also on the list, where a big number of safai mitras have assembled. Following the announcement of the prize, people are bursting with joy and cutting cakes. Let me inform you that the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi hosted the Swachhta Survekshan-2021 celebration, which was attended by numerous authorities including President Ram Nath Kovind and Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Let me also mention that Madhya Pradesh received 35 prizes this year.

- 11,364 municipal employees pick up 1200 tonnes of garbage every day.
- Cleanliness and washing of roads in the city takes place from 3 pm.
- Indore becomes country's first water plus city.
– Clean rivers due to drain tapping.
- Sewerage water was treated and water was used for road washing, garden, farming.
– Sensors installed for cleaning public toilets.
– The level of dirt from the sensor is recorded directly in the control room and the cleaning team is sent to the spot.
– Got greenery and painting done around the toilet.
– 3-D painting on 700 walls of the city.
– Messages of cleanliness are written at major intersections, roads, riverbanks, gardens of the city.
– A 3-D painting of Corona Warrior is made on the walls.
– The buildings under construction are covered with tarpaulin.
– Work to prevent dust and cement arising during construction work.

– Urinals made on liquor carts, dustbins kept for waste.
