Bhopal: The festival of Diwali has now arrived at the doorstep. This year Diwali is falling at the end of the month due to which the budget of most of households has been disturbed. In such a situation, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to give salaries to its government employees before Diwali. State CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced this. 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan informed through the official Twitter handle of the CMO that the salary for the month of October will be given to the government employees of the state before Diwali. The tweet read, 'The holy festival of Deepawali is coming. Celebrate Diwali with gaiety by all our employees including fellow family, so we are issuing an order to pay this month's salary before Diwali. Wishing all the staff colleagues a very Happy Diwali.'

Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath has given the gift of Diwali to the government employees and pensioners of UP. He has announced an increase in dearness allowance for state employees, pensioners and family pensioners. Along with this, the state government will also give a bonus of Rs 6,908 to each employee on Diwali. The employees of the state are very happy with this decision of CM Shivraj.
