Red alert in MP: Rivers on rising level, villages may get hit by floods

Gwalior: Madhya Pradesh has been receiving incessant rain and due to this rivers of the Gwalior-Chambal area have overflowed. Several districts of MP have been flooded due to rain. Yes, the list includes several villages in Singrauli, Satna, Rewa where people have been deeply disturbed by the waterlogging. The flood-affected village of Teonthar block of Rewa has started being evacuated. On the other hand, the administration is constantly working to rescue people and take them to safer places. So far 300 people have been sent to relief camps. Parvati and Sindh are not in full swing due to incessant rains in MP.

Due to this, many villages of Sheopur and Bhind have also been facing flood crises. On the other hand, the flood situation in Satna has worsened and two people have washed away while crossing the Rapti river. One of them was safely evacuated. In Madhya Pradesh, intermittent rain is continuing. The Met department has warned of rain at places that have gone up even today.

The list includes Rewa, Bhopal, Sagar where heavy rain has been warned. Due to floods in Satna and Sidhi in Madhya Pradesh, water is continuously reaching Rewa. Due to rising water, the sons had to open 8 gates of Bankia Barrage and 12 gates of Behar Barrage on Saturday night. In addition, a gate of Adwa Dam was also opened. On the other hand, the district administration is constantly monitoring the situation.
