MP Tourism Board inks MoUs with chapters of 8 countries of GOPIO

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board signed a Memorandum of Understanding with chapters of 8 countries of the Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) at the MP Tourism Pavilion of Brilliant Convention Centre in Indore at the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas Convention.

This Memorandum of Understanding were signed with France Metropole Paris, Mauritius, Reunion Island, Martinique, Sri Lanka, GOPIO International, Malaysia, and Mauritius.

On behalf of the Tourism Board and the presidents of 8 GOPIO countries, the MoUs were signed by Shri Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary for Tourism and Culture, and the Tourism Board's Managing Director. 

The execution of these Memoranda of Understanding, according to Principal Secretary Shri Shukla, aims to increase collaboration in the growth of the State's tourism industry as well as in the promotion and publicising of tourist destinations.

Addressing the occasion, Rajaram Munuswamy, GOPIO President of France said that the MoU will pave the way for a healthy relationship that will further boost the bond which exists between Madhya Pradesh Tourism and the French-speaking regions.
