Hyderabad: Political parties continue to make sharp statements on the occasion of Constitution Day. Now, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President and Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi made a major allegation against the government on this special day saying that the constitutional promise made to Muslims, Dalits or tribals has been generally betrayed.

Mp Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted on Constitution Day that "On November 26, 1949, our elders adopted the Indian Constitution. The Constitution is a document of the dreams that our elders saw for us. But it was transformed by men into rule of law. For the first time, a formal text saved us not only from the excesses of the state, but also from majoritarianism.

He wrote in another tweet that although this constitutional promise has been generally betrayed. Especially when it comes to Muslims, Dalits or tribals. But it's still worth fighting. For communities that have historically been excluded from access to power, the Constitution gives us weapons to defeat injustice. On the other hand, Rahul Gandhi said on this day that "justice and rights should be the same for all so that the Constitution does not become just paper - it is the responsibility of all of us. Best wishes to all on the constitution day of the country.'
