New Delhi:- The NASCAR team Legacy Motor Club has stopped their driver Noah Gragson from racing for an unknown amount of time. The driver got in trouble on Saturday, August 5 because he liked a funny picture on social media that made fun of the murder of George Floyd, according to Fox Sports. Josh Berry took over as the driver in this weekend's Cup Series race.

A Black man named George Floyd from Minneapolis was killed by a police officer in 2020 while he was being arrested. His death caused people all over the country to protest against treating people unfairly based on their race, and people from other countries also recognized this as a problem.

Take a look at it here. NASCAR said that Gragson broke one of their rules about how drivers should behave, and they agree with Legacy Motor Club's decision.

"NASCAR agrees with Legacy Motor Club's choice to temporarily stop Noah Gragson," says the statement. "NASCAR suspended Gragson indefinitely because he broke the rules in the 2023 NASCAR Rule Book by what he did on social media. "

Gragson learned about retribution and posted a statement on a social media platform called X (formerly known as Twitter). He said, "I am upset with myself because I haven't been paying enough attention or taking action on social media. "

The message, written in response to Legacy Motor Club's position, also said, "I recognize how serious this situation is. I have love and respect for all people. I make sure to be fair to everybody, regardless of who they are. I made a mistake, in a straightforward way.

Josh Berry had his ninth race of the season at Michigan International Speedway for the FireKeepers Casino 400. On Sunday, August 6, there was a 42 Legacy MC Chevrolet. But he had to stop racing because he hit the walls on the 51st lap.

Noah Gragson is a NASCAR driver who got in trouble for liking a post about George Floyd that was meant as a joke. Because of this, he got suspended by the NASCAR Club. Now, he is feeling sorry for not being careful on social media.
