Many people have earned their name in the field of art in India. India's popular painter and writer Satish Gujral has died at the age of 94 years. Rich versatile Satish was known for his paintings. He was the younger brother of former Prime Minister of India, Indra Kumar Gujral. Satish Gujral died on 25 December 1925 in Jhelum (now Pakistan), British India. He breathed his last on 26 March 2020. He studied in Mayo School of Art in Lahore for five years in various subjects. During this time, he also studied graphic designing.

Satish Gujral's contribution to the field of art has been immense. Due to which he has also been honored with many awards. Not only this, he has also been awarded Padma Vibhushan by the Government of India in the year 1999. Satish Gujral never gave up despite tough struggles in his life. As a result, he was awarded this award.

For your information, let us tell you that Gujral had difficulty hearing in ears, due to which many schools refused to admit him in his school. One day he saw birds sleeping on trees. He then made a painting of this image. This was his first approach towards painting. After this, in the year 1939, he took admission in the art school in Lahore. In 1944, he moved to Mumbai. Where he took admission in JJ School of Art. In 1947, due to illness, he had to leave his studies midway.
