In his statement, he said, 'The so-called new secular government in Maharashtra is nothing but an opportunistic alliance of different parties which do not even want to stand with each other. Gandhi family sees Uddhav as untouchable who does not even want to share the stage with him. Describing Uddhav as' Godse Bhakta ', he congratulated him on becoming the Chief Minister and also said,' You and your MLAs have vowed allegiance to the society. Hence, complete this surrender by naming Samana as Sonia Naama. They will not tolerate the absurd editorial in your poor quality newspaper."

Apart from this, Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, 'There are two people in the country who give certificates of secularism. One Congress and the other one is who can abuse Hindus. So those who want to get the certificate should do the same. He alleged that Shiv Sena is desperate to get a certificate from the Congress in the greed of power. Giriraj claimed that he did not compare any party to the Mughals in his tweet. He clarified, 'I only said that the princely states and kings had joined hands with the Mughals in the greed of power. Mughals expanded their empire in India with the help of some of these indigenous princely states. Similarly, the Maharashtra government was formed in association with Congress.
