The sword of arrest in the INX media scam case hanging over Chidambaram. Chidambaram is now underground and the CBI and ED teams are looking for him with great vigour. To avoid this, Chidambaram has approached the Supreme Court. Since Chidambaram is a lawyer, he knows all the tricks to evade the law. That's why he's trying his best to avoid arrest. However, if Chidambaram is arrested by any of the CBI and ED, he may face a jail term of 28 days. A look out notice has been issued against Chidambaram. 

Tell for your information that the whole case is linked to the INX media scam. The FIR was registered by the CBI on May 15, 2017. This was followed by a money laundering case filed by the Enforcement Directorate in 2018. In this case, in 2007, in the INX media, it is wrongly allowed to invest in foreign investment. INX media had received the approval of the ign investment. The INX company for which foreign investment was sanctioned was of the son of Chidambaram, an associate company. It is alleged that Karti Chidambaram took advantage of her father's finance minister and also approved illegal investments. In the case, P. Both Chidambaram and Karti Chidambaram are accused.

According to media reports, INX had received approval of only 4.62 crore rupees for foreign investment in TV news but the foreign investment of about 305 crore rupees was brought in through alleged manipulation. There are also allegations that the illicit money was wrongly transferred to other companies. Chidambaram INX Media and Aircel Maxis 2G scam case are both caught in the case. The ED and the CBI are seeking their custody for questioning of Chidambaram and his son Karti. To avoid arrest, Chidambaram was relieved by the high court in these cases, which has increased several times since July last year.
