Navjot Singh Sidhu today has filed the Nomination papers for the upcoming Punjab polls from the Amritsar constituency in Punjab. On January 16, the cricketer turned politician formally joined the Congress Party.
He said “I have no personal agenda. Just want Punjab youth to get direction and Punjab to be what it was after the green revolution,”As per the reports.
He further said that I want that Congressmen and Punjabis to cast their votes for Punjab to establish religion. The Punjab Assembly polls elections are scheduled to held on February 4.
