The bollywood superstar Rajinikanth who will be seen romancing with Nayanthara upcoming film, Darbar. The film is directed by AR Murugadoss. In this film Nayanthara will be seen apposite  Thalaivar on the big screen after 14 years, will begin shooting for Darbar in Mumbai today. The two were last seen together in Chandramukhi which also had Jyothika and Prabhu playing pivotal roles in it.

Nayanthara had also done a cameo in Rajinikanth’s Kuselan and Sivaji but she will be playing the lead opposite Thalaivar in this one again

Besides Nayanthara, the duo  will also be playing the main female lead in Thalapathy 63, directed by Atlee, which is scheduled to release this Diwali. She was last seen in Airaa and Viswasam; the latter was a massive hit at the box office while the former failed to make that impact. Both the actors will be shooting for an important portion of the film in Mumbai before they head to Chennai for the remaining shoot.

Darbar will see Rajinikanth playing the role of a cop after more than two decades. In fact, his name in the film will also be Darbar.The film is scheduled to release during Pongal 2020. More details about Nayanthara’s character in the film are yet to be disclosed but we are hoping she has a massy role in the film just like Thalaivar.
