Supreme Court-appointed negotiator Advocate Sanjay Hegde and Sadhana Ramachandran reached the picket at around 6:30 pm on Friday evening and said that they only want to talk to women. He asked all the men to withdraw from the picket. After this, Sadhna Ramachandran asked the women, do they want to disturb people and picket them? The women answered no. Then asked, if you are sitting on only one road, then the road on the other side should be started. The women said that will the administration give them security. The interlocutors called the police officers present on the spot and promised them, but the other faction did not agree.
