New Delhi:  A meeting of National Democratic Alliance will take place in the New The meeting will take place before the Parliament's Monsoon Session and the presidential elections, both of which are slated for July 18. According to sources, this meeting would include a thorough discussion of the NDA leaders' approach.

In this meeting all of the NDA's MPs from both chambers will also receive an explanation of the electoral process and will be shown a mock exercise of the complete procedure, source said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend this conference. The NDA MPs' meeting will be followed by dinner.

Draupadi Murmu, the NDA  presidential candidate, officially announced her candidacy on June 24. Murmu is the first significant tribal woman to run for president in India. Once elected, she will become India's first tribal president and the country's second female leader.

She is the first significant candidate for President from Odisha, and if elected, she will be the first from that state. Along with the support of the NDA's partners, Murmu also has the backing of the YSR, Congress, BJD, and Akali Dal.
