New Delhi: People looking for treatment in medical in are going to get a new hospital. In fact, apart from modern medicine, the New Delhi Municipal Corporation is all set to open its first AYUSH hospital in the area. The hospital is said to be built in the Sarojni Nagar area. It will treat all the five medical practices under AYUSH Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Homoeopathy and Unani medicine. As part of the information received, AYUSH Dr. Kamlesh Gupta, Director, NDMC has informed about the AYUSH Hospital.

"This will be NMDC's first AYUSH hospital," he says. All facilities available at AYUSH Hospital will be prepared here. A decision has been taken to become a hospital. Now, in Sarojni Nagar, where these hospitals are to be constructed, redevelopment is taking place and the hospital will be ready. He also said, "About 30,000 square feet of space has been identified for the hospital near CGHS complex, apart from metro station and Sarojni Nagar market. The hospital will be looked after by the Ministry of AYUSH for about three years. It will then be handed over to NDMC. Even if a fee is kept, it will range from Rs.50 to a maximum of Rs.300.''

Under the information received, the hospital will provide treatment of  Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani system, naturopathy and homeopathy. It is being reported that different OPDs of all medical practices will be created and people will be able to get their diseases treated regularly everywhere. Separate therapy centers will be set up for therapy under these five methods such as Panchakarma in Ayurveda, Hydro in Naturopathy and Acupressure and Acupuncture etc.
