Kathmandu: In the midst of a political crisis in Pal, late Saturday, National President of the main opposition party Nepali Congress and former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba met the current PM KP Oli. This meeting took place after KP Oli gave a clear message of partition of the party to his ministers. Right now this conversation has been kept confidential.

It is worth mentioning that there was a long discussion between these two leaders at midnight on July 1 also. After receiving assurances in the same meeting, PM Oli agreed to postpone the session of Parliament and bring an ordinance to split the Communist Party. Two days ago Nepalese Congress Vice-President Bimalinder Nidhi had indicated that his party can support the Oli government if the Communist Party is divided.

Last night, a 7-hour marathon meeting of the pro-Oli leaders of Communist Party Vice-President Bamdev Gautam, who was in the anti-camp camp, lasted for 7 hours. In this meeting, on behalf of Oli, Bamdev has also been proposed to become the president of the new party and the post of Prime Minister after one year. He was also proposed to be made Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister. The temptation has been given to appoint him to a nominated post in the National Assembly.
