Regarding the shivering cold winds, the Meteorological Department of Jaipur has informed that there is a possibility of light showers from January 4 due to western cyclonic disturbance. In the coming one or two days, the severe cold can take a more formidable form in the state. On the other hand, in the capital Jaipur, it was comparatively very cold on Thursday morning.

The minimum temperature here was recorded at 6.6 degrees Celsius, which is about 2 degrees below normal. An official of the Jaipur Meteorological Office said that a drop of about 7 degrees Celsius has been recorded in the temperature in Jaipur, as the minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 13.0 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
