In this case, the hospital's paediatrician surgeon Dr Akhilesh Kumar says that the newborn's stomach was swelling due to a lack of rectum. He was vomiting. Due to this, the threat to his life had increased and the family of the newborn was very upset about this.
In this case, Dr Akhilesh said, "After 5 days, the parents of the child came to know that there is no rectum in their child's body. He then immediately reached Lucknow from Sitapur and showed her to the OPD of the paediatric department. The infant was then admitted.'' After that, some necessary examination of the child was done and surgery was done in his body and the rectum way was made. In this case, Dr Akhilesh says that the child is now completely healthy. The mother is also breastfeeding. Apart from this, it is also being told that such a complex surgery of a child of just 9 days has been done for the first time in the history of Balrampur Hospital and it is also being claimed that such surgery has not been done in any government hospital in the state so far.
According to Dr MP Singh, head of the department of anaesthesia, it was extremely challenging to give anaesthesia to the child. Giving anaesthesia to children under one month of age is at risk of bleeding and can cause chills. However, the temperature was controlled by covering the child with cotton and separate equipment was also ordered for this surgery.
