NIA files chargesheet in Pulwama attack case, 40 Indian soldiers martyred

New Delhi: TADA court is hearing the Pulwama terror attack case in Jammu. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had filed a chargesheet against 19 accused in the NIA Court in Jammu in connection with the Pulwama attack on February 14, 2019. 40 CRPF jawans were killed in the attack. Pakistan-backed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed had taken responsibility for the attack.

The 13,500-page chargesheet has been prepared after an inquiry by a team of Deputy Inspector General Sonia Narang and Superintendent of Police Rakesh Balwal. 19 accused including Jaish-e-Mohammed's aka Masood Azhar and his brother Abdul Rauf Asghar have been found accused. The chargesheet contains strong evidence, technical, material and circumstantial evidence of Pakistan's role in the attack. Pakistan used a local terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar. Who had hit a car laden with RDX in a CRPF convoy in Pulwama.

Investigations revealed that the RDX used in the attack was ordered from Pakistan. Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists had infiltrated into India and NIA also have its whole. The chargesheet names all the accused, including a woman, who helped the Fidayeen attacker to carry out the attack at the behest of Pakistan. In the same case, NIA arrested Mohammed Iqbal Rather, an assistant to Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Mohammad Omar Farooq. Rather was in constant touch with Jaish leaders sitting in Pakistan through the messaging app.
