The court has stayed the arrest till 15 March. Along with this, the court also gave time to the Delhi Police to file a reply on Nikita's anticipatory bail, that she should file her reply by March 9. Along with Nikita, environmental activists Disha Ravi and Shantanu Muluk have also been named as accused in the case. Disha Ravi has been granted bail in the case, while Shantanu was granted interim relief till March 9. The duration of which has now been extended.

In the bail plea filed before Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana of the Patiala House Court, Nikita argued that the Mumbai High Court had granted her three weeks of relief on February 17.
