No Change in Term 2 Exam Pattern For Class X, XII: CBSE

New Delhi: The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken serious note of certain'misleading' and 'confusing' information being distributed by a select online media platforms ahead of the key Term 2 Board Examination for Class 10 and 12 students.

The first term's exams have already been finished, and the CBSE has yet to announce the dates for the second term's exams.

"It has been noticed that a few online media platforms are distributing inaccurate information and deceiving audiences, using terminology such as Breaking News about major exam pattern changes in class X and XII, Term 2 Board exams," the CBSE said in a statement released on Monday.

 

"The Board had announced the changes in exam format," CBSE said in a public advisory given in the interest of students (mentioned in circular number 51, dated 5th July 2021). Exams for Term 1 have already been completed, and the exam structure for Term 2 is also listed in the same circular."

CBSE said in a circular dated July 5, 2021 that the Term 2 Examination/Year-End Exam will be held only on the rationalised Term II syllabus (i.e. approximately 50 percent of the entire syllabus). This examination will take place in March-April 2022 at the Board's designated examination centres.
