Patna: So far 57 people have lost their lives due to drinking poisonous liquor in Bihar. In the Assembly, the BJP is constantly surrounding the Nitish Kumar-led government. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that no one will get compensation if they die due to alcohol. Nitish Kumar reiterated that if you drink alcohol, you will die. He said that we are following the path shown by the Father of the Nation Bapu. In other states too, people are dying due to drinking poisonous liquor. The BJP had supported prohibition.  

During this, Nitish Kumar said that drinking alcohol is not considered a good thing in any religion. The Chief Minister further said that work is being done for the upliftment of the poor in the state. Earlier, the poor man used to come and fight in the house after drinking alcohol, but after the ban on alcohol, all this has reduced considerably. He said that we are giving one lakh rupees to the poor to work, but people are drinking alcohol. CM Nitish Kumar said that we are doing a lot of work for the poor. Prohibition is not an issue.
 
Apart from the BJP, Prashant Kishor, who was once a colleague of Nitish, also attacked him. Prashant Kishor also demanded that the prohibition law be repealed within 48 hours. He also targeted the Grand Alliance leaders along with the Bihar government. Prashant Kishor targeted Tejashwi, saying that only people living around Nitish Kumar drink alcohol.
