The corona in Madhya Pradesh is going to be more vigorous. It is known that the havoc of Corona is expected to be at its peak in July. To fight this crisis, the Health Department has prepared a list of 2621 private hospitals across the state, but there is no attention towards how much treatment is available in it.

The condition is that in Indore, where the number of patients is estimated to reach 13,438, there are only 157 ventilators in 328 private hospitals. Indore, which has been identified as a medical hub, is lagging behind Bhopal in this matter. Relying only on the statistics of the Health Department, there are 10 districts of the state where there is no ventilator in private hospitals. The total number of ventilators in 19 districts is not even five. The question is how we will be able to win the battle against Corona.

Not only the resources, the shortage of doctors and trained staff working in ICU is also becoming a big problem. According to the department, to fight this situation, we need two and a half thousand PG medicine and PG anesthesia (junior doctor) in the state, but there is no such large number of junior doctors. Paramedical staff, nursing staff will also be needed. However, there is not a single ventilator in these districts of Mandsaur, Damoh, Datia, Mandla, Mandsaur, Panna, Rajgarh, Satna, Sidhi, Singrauli and Umaria.
