Dehradun: After the snowfall in the morning of Wednesday, 29 January 2020, Mussoorie and Dhanaulti, which are called the queen of the mountains, have been completely paralyzed by beautiful snow. There was heavy snowfall in Auli and Nainital as well. The weather patterns in Uttarakhand had changed since last Tuesday. Snowfall started in Mussoorie and Dhanaulti from the late evening when the temperature dropped due to the rains which started in Mussoorie from Tuesday afternoon. After the snowfall, the weather here has increased even colder. Tourists from here and abroad, along with the locals, enjoyed snowfall. Tourists' faces blossomed after seeing a sheet of snow in the plaintiffs.

Heavy snowfall and rain in Uttarakhand, schools to remain closed

Due to the increased cold after a snowfall in Mussoorie and Dhanaulti, people are forced to lurk in their homes. Tourists are also locked in the hotel. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings of rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas for the next 24 hours. The Mussoorie Dhanaulti road has been closed. Mussoorie-Camptee Road has also been closed near Zero Point. Roads have been closed due to falling of trees on LBS Academy Road. Due to which people are having a lot of trouble in movement.

The Meteorological Department warns that rain and hail are expected to fall in most areas on Wednesday. The maximum temperature of the Doon was reduced by about 2 degrees due to rain. The Meteorological Department says that cold-day conditions will remain in most areas of the mountain on Wednesday. Cold wave can move in high altitude areas. Recently there was a lot of snowfall in Mussoorie and Dhanaulti. There was a huge gathering of tourists here. Meanwhile, former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni also came here with the family and enjoyed a lot of snowfall.
