Lucknow: Days after mafia brothers Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf were killed in the presence of police and Atiq's son Asad was killed in a police encounter, CM Yogi Adityanath has said that now the mafia in Uttar Pradesh cannot threaten anyone. The Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath, was addressing a programme in Lucknow on Tuesday (April 18), during which he made this big statement.

CM Yogi Adityanath said that, 'Before 2017, law and order in Uttar Pradesh was worse, and the state was notorious for riots. Many districts were such that people were afraid to even take their names, but today people do not need to be afraid of the name of the district. Those who were earlier a threat to the identity of the state are today becoming a threat to it.

According to media reports, CM Yogi Adityanath further said, 'Now no professional criminal or mafia can threaten any entrepreneur or businessman. Uttar Pradesh today guarantees you excellent law and order.' Let us tell you that, after the murder of Atiq-Ashraf, CM Yogi has taken a tough stand against the mafia.
