Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday made a big allegation against the Election Commission and even said that due to the dishonesty of the Election Commission, he lost the elections in UP. Now Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) national president Om Prakash Rajbhar has reacted sharply to this. Rajbhar said that if the Commission has committed dishonesty, then SP chief Akhilesh Yadav should tell how he won 125 seats.

Rajbhar has said that Akhilesh Yadav should discuss the mistakes made on his part during the assembly elections from ticket distribution to campaigning. His allegations against the Election Commission are baseless. Rajbhar said on Friday that Akhilesh should have truly said that the Election Commission won him 125 seats. The way he was changing the names of candidates every hour till the last day of nomination, the victory in 125 seats is also big.

In an interview on Thursday, Akhilesh Yadav blamed the dishonesty of the Election Commission for the defeat of the SP in the last assembly elections in UP and the by-elections to Rampur and Azamgarh Lok Sabha seats, saying that if the Commission had worked honestly, the results would have been different. The SP chief said that due to the dishonesty of the Election Commission, we have lost the elections in UP. There is no fair institution left in the country now. The government is putting pressure on these institutions to do the work they want.
