A passenger died in Kerala plane crash tested positive for corona

Kochi: One person was corona infected among the passengers who died in the Air India Express plane crash at Kozhikode Airport in Kerala. On Friday evening, 18 people, including two pilots, lost their lives. A plane coming from Kozhikode from Dubai under the Vande India Mission crashed on the runway, causing the accident. One passenger report has been found positive in the corona test.

The investigation is going on regarding the plane crash. Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan, besides Kerala CM P. Vijayan and Governor Arif Mohammad Khan reached the spot to take stock of the situation. Explain that the Air India Express AXB1344, Boeing 737 was coming from Dubai to Kozhikode under the India Mission during the Corona Festival. It was raining heavily in Kerala on Friday. The plane reached Kozhikode with 184 passengers and 6 crew members from Dubai. The plane slipped on the runway and rammed into the wall, breaking into two pieces.

Let us tell you that in view of the coronavirus epidemic, the central government started the Vande Bharat Mission to bring back the stranded Indians abroad. This program starts in May. Under this, Indians trapped abroad are being brought through special planes.
