Bhubaneswar: A piece of big news is coming out from Odisha. State Health Minister Naba Kishore Das has been shot. Naba Kishore Das is also the MLA of Jharsuguda. As per reports, the incident took place around 12 noon. Unidentified assailants shot him in the chest at Gandhi Chowk in Brajrajnagar. After which Das was hurriedly taken to a local hospital, where his condition is said to be critical.
As per reports, the attackers were in police uniforms. That's why no one was able to identify them. He has been shot in Brajraj Nagar. The police have cordoned off all around. The area is being sealed. The assailants have fled from the spot. He was shot at very close range. Odisha Health Minister Naba Das was shot at by some unidentified assailants near Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda district, injuring him. The incident took place when Naba Das was on his way to attend a program at Gandhi Chowk in Brajrajnagar.
A police officer has informed that Police ASI Gopal Das is involved in the firing on Odisha Health Minister Naba Das. Sub-inspector Gopal Das was posted at Gandhi Chowk. ASI Gopal Das fired at Minister Naba Das with his service revolver. Additional SP Gupteshwar Bhoi told that further investigation is being done. Minister Naba Das has been admitted to the hospital.
