Chittoor: Participating in the YSR Aasara program organized at MPUP School, Kalikiri Mandal, Rajampet MP P Mithun Reddy presented a check of Rs 7.09 crore towards the second installment of YSR Aasara program involving the members of 856 Self Help Groups of Kalikiri Mandal. Speaking on the occasion, he said that a major chunk of money has been allocated for the development of women in the budget.

Stating that the participation of SHG members was very important in the implementation of welfare programmes, he said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was committed to the welfare and empowerment of women. He said that the office bearers of the party should take an active part in creating awareness among the state and centrally sponsored schemes at the grassroots level.

He assured that HNSS water facility would be provided for both drinking and irrigation purposes covering Madanapalle, Thambalapalli, Pilar, Punganur and Kuppam areas, for which the CM has given green signal. Pilar MLA C Ramachandra Reddy enumerated the achievements of the YSRCP government. Earlier, Rajampet MP and Pilar MLA have attended the YSR Aasra program organized in Pillar.
