Realme is set to launch a new smartphone lineup in the near future in India. The upcoming Realme P series, where 'P' stands for Power, is tailored specifically for the Indian market and will be available for purchase through Flipkart. This lineup is confirmed to offer a mid-range smartphone experience. The revelation comes from Realme's Vice President shared the news through a post on X . Realme recently teased the arrival of this new smartphone lineup with a video titled "Power Up!". Additionally, a tipster has provided insights into the monikers and chipsets of the upcoming Realme P series.  He announced the impending launch of the Realme P series in India.

 This new lineup, featuring 5G connectivity, is exclusively designed for the Indian market and will be sold exclusively through Flipkart. It is confirmed to deliver a mid-range smartphone experience to Indian consumers.

With this new series, Realme aims to redefine the mid-range smartphone experience and offer value-driven premium products targeted at young consumers. Xu stated that Realme has sold over 100 million devices in India until 2023. Last week, Realme released a teaser video with the tagline "Power Up", hinting at the release of new smartphones rumour is that it would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, while the latter could feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.

The announcement of the P series follows shortly after the debut of the Realme 12X 5G in the country. Realme currently offers multiple C series and Narzo series handsets in its portfolio, along with several number series smartphones. The brand is expected to release more teasers about the first phone in the P lineup in the coming days. Meanwhile, the Realme 12X 5G went on sale last week with a starting price of Rs. 11,999. It features screen of a 6.72-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. It sports a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired SuperVOOC charging.
