Lahore: Three patients died when doctors failed to provide timely treatment facilities due to fierce protests by lawyers outside the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore, Pakistan. According to local media reports, the lawyers are demonstrating this on a video that went viral on social media on Tuesday.

In the video, a doctor is seen describing an encounter in front of a group of lawyers. According to the doctor appearing in the video, a group of lawyers went to the Inspector General of Police and was asking them to impose a charge on 'two doctors' under Section 7 of the ATA. The doctor has told in detail that the IG refused to impose the charge, but a group of lawyers appeared to pressurize him to do so.
