Srinagar: The anger of the neighbouring country Pakistan has been seen once again. Pakistan has flared up over the air service started between Srinagar and Sharjah. After this, they have banned the flight of this plane from their airspace. Pakistan on Tuesday stopped a Srinagar-Sharjah flight from using its airspace, after which the flight had to turn around and head to Sharjah.

It is being told that Pakistan is infuriated due to a flight from Kashmir. It had earlier also blocked international flights from Kashmir from using its airspace. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah has termed it unfortunate for not allowing the use of airspace by Pakistan. Abdullah tweeted and wrote, 'Very unfortunate. Pakistan did the same thing in 2009-10 with Air India Express going from Srinagar to Dubai. I expected that allowing Go First Air flight to use airspace was a sign of improving relations but alas it was not to be.''

Let us inform you that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had flagged off the Srinagar-Sharjah flight on 23 October. This flight is started by Go First Air. Go First is the first airline to start direct international flights and international cargo operations from Srinagar to Sharjah. Go First will operate four flights a week between Srinagar and Sharjah. The airline had said in a statement that the introduction of direct flights to Sharjah would also boost trade and tourism between Srinagar and the UAE.
