NEW DELHI: Pakistan is ready to provide diplomatic access to Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has been jailed after verdict of International Court of Justice (ICJ). However, Pakistan has again put two conditions before India to give counsellor access to Kulbhushan Jadhav.

The Pakistan side has said that diplomatic access to Kulbhushan Jadhav will be provided only if a Pakistani official is present during the counsellor's access. Obviously, Pakistan's effort will be to put pressure on Jadhav. Another condition is that CCTV cameras are installed where the counsellor access process takes place.

India confirmed on Thursday that it has received a Pakistani proposal in this regard and will communicate with Islamabad through diplomatic channels. External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar told the press in New Delhi, "I am not going into the details. We have received a proposal from Pakistan and we are evaluating it in view of the decision of the ICJ. We will maintain dialogue with Pakistan through diplomatic channels."
