Pakistan fired at Uri sector, one Indian woman died

Islamabad: Pakistan has once again broken a ceasefire in the Kamalkot sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Pakistani soldiers fired on Indian posts without provocation. The Indian Army has given a befitting reply to this action of Pakistan. Giving information, an army officer said that at 9.20 am on Saturday, Pakistani troops opened fire in Kamalkot sector of Uri area. This area falls in Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

According to the report, the Pakistani Army fired at Indian posts without cause. There was a continuous firing till the latest update. The army has given a befitting reply to this action of Pakistan. This is the second ceasefire violation by the Pakistan Army within 48 hours in Baramulla district. On Friday, a 48-year-old woman was killed after being hit by firing from Pakistan in Rampur sector.

According to the police, a woman named Akhtar Begum got hit in the firing from Pakistan, the woman died on the spot. Four houses and a mosque have also been damaged in the firing done by Pakistan. After the firing of Pakistan, many families moved to underground bunker or to safe places in Uri tehsil.
