Players from Russia and Belarus are going to be seen playing as neutral players in the Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon. The All England Club lifted on Friday the ban imposed last year on players from Russia and Belarus. Players have been allowed to play the tournament under certain conditions. They are not going to support Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The All England Club has said that the players are not going to take funds from their countries, Russia and Belarus. Other tennis tournaments also allow players from Russia and Belarus to play as neutrals. Wimbledon is scheduled to start on July 3 this year. The women's singles final is scheduled for July 15 and the men's singles final on July 16.

Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine last year, the International Olympic Committee also banned athletes from Russia and Belarus from using national flags, symbols, and singing national anthems. Belarus is also helping Russia attack Ukraine. In the IBA Women's World Championship held in India, boxers from Russia and Belarus played with the flags of their respective countries. Now the players of both countries have also been allowed to play in the Wimbledon Open.
