New Delhi: Corona epidemic in the country is not taking the name of havoc. Despite all the efforts of the states and the central government, new cases are increasing daily. Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court of the country, in which the government has been accused of not working properly.

It is noteworthy that a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking an independent inquiry through a commission headed by a retired judge of the apex court regarding the alleged mismanagement of the corona epidemic. The top court can hear this petition on Friday. In the petition, the government has been accused of mismanagement in dealing with Corona. In this regard, senior advocate Prashant Bhushan has filed a petition in the Supreme Court on behalf of six former senior bureaucrats. In which the impact of the epidemic on the life and livelihood of the citizens of the country has been said to be important.

In the petition filed in the apex court, a commission has been formed and a demand is made to investigate this case. According to the information, a bench headed by Justice L Nageswara Rao can hear the case on Friday. Statistics of active corona cases in India show that the spread of the epidemic is now slowing down. The number of active cases has almost halved in the first week of August compared to the last week of July and the recovery rate has increased by almost 40 per cent in the same period.
