Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a gathering in Varanasi during the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, specifically meeting with beneficiaries of the Ujjwala and free ration schemes. This rendezvous provided an opportunity for the beneficiaries to express firsthand how these initiatives had significantly impacted their lives. They shared poignant accounts, vividly detailing the transformative effects these schemes had brought about in their daily existence.

PM Modi had arrived in Varanasi on Sunday for a two-day visit, during which he was scheduled to launch and inaugurate 37 projects valued at over Rs 19,000 crore for the city and Purvanchal. He had also inaugurated Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2.0 from Namo Ghat and flagged off the new train from Kanyakumari to Varanasi.
