Mumbai: Domestic gas (LPG gas cylinder) has been hiked by Rs 50 across the country today (Saturday, May 7). Now about a thousand rupees will have to be spent for a gas cylinder. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the price rise of petrol, diesel and gas and also took on BJP leaders of Maharashtra. Apart from this, the Shiv Sena MP has also given his reaction on the issue of Raj Thackeray taking off loudspeakers from mosques and reciting Hanuman Chalisa.

Sanjay Raut said that no BJP leader is seen speaking on the issue of price rise and unemployment today. Sanjay Raut took a dig at Prime Minister Modi, saying he had come from a tour of Europe. They are concerned about the war between Ukraine and Russia. The people of the country are fighting the war of price rise, they have no problem with it.

Sanjay Raut said that Prime Minister Modi is mediating between Ukraine and Russia and his devotees are praising him. On petrol, diesel, cylinders, and unemployment, not a single BJP leader or minister is ever seen saying anything. They are all speaking on loudspeakers. Why aren't you talking about the real issue? Holding the BJP government at the Centre responsible for inflation, Sanjay Raut said that being in power, it is his duty to speak on the issue of price rise related to the people. It's not their job to speak on the loudspeaker. Before talking to reporters today, Sanjay Raut also tweeted on the issue. Sanjay Raut further said, "All the political loudspeakers have now disappeared due to fear of the police. The work is done on the direction of the Supreme Court. The rule of law prevails in Maharashtra. Some people wanted to spoil the atmosphere. They wanted to incite tension and riots between Hindus and Muslims. But the wise people did not come into their talk. There is peace everywhere in the state. We had already said that a Centre should formulate and articulate a national policy on this issue. If the loudspeakers are taken off, the Hindu society will have to bear the brunt the most.''
