New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to participants on Monday about the GatiShakti vision, which is an integrated plan to improve ease of living, ease of doing business, reduce disruptions, expedite job completion with cost efficiency, and build next-generation infrastructure.

With a stakeholder meeting involving high-ranking officials from various Ministries, leading academics, and industry representatives, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is set to chart out a strategy for improving India's logistics efficiency in order to maintain the momentum on the PM GatiShakti national master plan.

The focus areas are the introduction of a new vision of integrated planning and synchronized time-bound implementation, as well as improving integration between the federal government and states when planning large infrastructure projects, as well as announcements in the Budget 2022 to increase capital availability for such projects.

PM GatiShakti will review the national expressway master plan, as well as projects such as Sagarmala and Parvatmala, as well as multimodal freight terminals and strategies to develop world-class talent for accelerating India's progress.

An assessment of the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP), which is a project to bring digital efficiencies and develop a statewide single window logistics platform for end-to-end visibility and efficient movement of products, will also be on the agenda.
