New Delhi: After 34 years, new education policy has been prepared in the country. It is considered a revolutionary change in the field of education. PM Modi will deliver the inaugural address at a program organized on 'Transformational Reforms in Higher Education' under the National Education Policy. In this, PM Modi can give information about the country that why this education policy was prepared, what will be the change from this.

Recently, the Central Cabinet announced the new education policy -2020 earlier this week and changed the country's 34-year-old education policy made in 1986. In this, many changes have been made from the report card of the children to the way of their studies. Now according to the education policy, children up to the fifth standard will be able to study in their mother tongue or regional language, the importance of board examinations has been reduced to some extent, a single regulator of higher education of law medical colleges as well as all other subjects. Provision has been made, as well as similar entrance examination has been said for admission in universities.

In the earlier policy in the country, education was given under the framework of 10 + 2 (up to class X, then up to class XII). Now as per the new policy, the 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 structure has been implemented. The age limit for this has been set 3-8 years, 8-11 years, 11-14 years, 14-18 years respectively. Multiple entry exits have been kept for graduation.
