Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to flag off the new Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express today, April 1 from the Rani Kamalapati station in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal.
Here are details about the Vande Bharat Express train between Bhopal and Delhi:
The 11th Vande Bharat Express train (Train No- 20172) takes approximately seven hours and forty-five minutes to go 708 kilometres.
The train may run from Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati station to Hazrat Nizamuddin station instead of New Delhi railway station - to save time by half an hour.
Apart from Agra, the train may stop at the stations in Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi and Gwalior
According to a government press release, "the locally designed Vande Bharat Express train set is equipped with cutting-edge passenger amenities."
The train will provide rail users a speedier, more comfortable, and convenient travel experience. Also, it is expected to encourage regional economic growth and increase tourism.
The fare of Vande Bharat Express between Hazrat Nizamuddin to Rani Kamalapati station will be Rs.1665 which includes Rs.308 as catering charges which is optional and Rs.3120 in the Executive Class between both the stations and also includes Rs.369 as catering charges.
The fare on Train No- 20171 Vande Bharat Express will be Rs.1735 in Chair Car and includes Rs.379 as catering charges and Rs.3185 in Executive Cass which will also include Rs.434 as catering charge.
