NEW DELHI:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate digitally in the first Leaders' Summit of I2U2 along with the presidents of Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, on July 14.

India, Israel, the UAE, and the United States will form a new group called I2U2 in 2022. The group aims to re-energize and reinvigorate American ties around the world. I2U2 aims to promote collaborative investments in six areas that have been mutually agreed upon, including water, energy, transportation, space, health, and food security.

Along with Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid, United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and United States President Joseph R. Biden, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend an I2U2 Summit, according to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
The four countries' foreign ministers met on October 18 of last year, during which the I2U2 Grouping was conceptualised. The MEA stated that "each country also maintains regular interactions at the Sherpa level to discuss the potential areas of collaboration."

To help modernise the infrastructure, our industries' low-carbon development routes, the public's health, and the advancement of vital emerging and green technologies, it aims to mobilise private sector funding and skills. In order to expand the economic collaboration in trade and investment in our respective regions and beyond, the Leaders will explore potential collaborative initiatives within the I2U2 framework as well as other similar areas of mutual interest.

These initiatives can offer chances for our businesspeople and employees while also serving as an example for economic cooperation.
