New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will address the conference of overseas Indians on the occasion of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas today. PM Narendra Modi has been tweeting that today at 10 o'clock he will address the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Conference. PM Modi has said in a statement that this is a unique opportunity to talk to energetic Indian communities spread all over the world.

In the official statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, the 16th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Conference is being organized in view of the sentiments of the migrant community even after the Corona epidemic. Certainly, this event will be done on a digital platform. This time the theme of this event is 'Contribution to Self-reliant India'. PM Narendra Modi has mentioned self-sufficient India many times during the crisis of corona epidemic. What can be the contribution of overseas Indians in realizing the dream of self-reliant India. 

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar will address the guests in this regard. Suriname's President Chandrikaprasad Santokhi will join as the chief guest during the inaugural session of the program. The President of the country Ramnath Kovind will also address this conference.
