New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a video conferencing today on Monday to mark the 151st birth anniversary celebrations of Jain monk Acharya Vijay Vallabh Surishwar Ji Maharaj. During this time he unveiled the 'Statue of Peace'. In fact, the 151-inch-high statue has been installed in the Vijay Vallabh Sadhana Center located in Pali, Rajasthan. According to the information, the 151-inch octa-metal statue is 27 feet high from the ground and weighs 1300 kg.

Addressing the people during the video conferencing, PM Modi said, 'It is a privilege for me to unveil the' Statue of Peace '. Acharya Vijayvallabh ji started a campaign to make India self-reliant in the field of education. He laid the foundation stone for many educational institutions with Indian values in many states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra Uttar Pradesh. With this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "If you look at the history of India, you will feel, whenever India has needed inner light, some sun has risen from the saint tradition. Some big saint has been in our country in every period, who has given direction to the society in view of that period. Acharya Vijay Vallabh ji was one such saint. India has always shown the whole world, humanity, the path of peace, non-violence and fraternity. These are the messages whose inspiration the world gets from India. For this guidance, the world is once again looking towards India.
