Meerut, It was a shocking moment when 12 robbers stop the car. In addition, they took 35-year-old woman and her daughter who is 14-year-old and raped them for 3 hours.
But, three suspects were arrested on Sunday as a massive manhunt was launched to nab those involved in the shocking crime.
A group of robbers stopped a vehicle with 6 people of the family were travelling near Bulandshahr in UP. Police didn’t take any action when the family members went to lodge an FIR. 3 hours after the incident happened police from nearby police station went to the spot where the crime has occurred.
On Sunday, UP government suspended top officials.The officials suspended include SSP Bulandshahr Vaibhav Kishan, SP city Rammohan Singh, circle officer (Sadar) Himanshu Gaurav and SHO Ramsen Singh of Kotwali Dehat, amid allegations of lenience by police.
The medical examination of the victims has been conducted and evidence has been collected from the crime scene, said Uttar Pradesh DGP Javed Ahmad.
“All measures will be taken to bring the culprits to justice. We will recommend the case to be transferred to fast track court for speedy justice," the DGP added.
